Ferienwohnungen Eckermann

Terms and conditions of accommodation

1. Scope

These terms apply to accommodation at Ferienwohnungen Eckermann, Brauhausgasse 13, 99423 Weimar (owner Kevin Deobald, hereinafter “the Landlord”), and to all related services.

2. Booking

A binding reservation is concluded solely by the Landlord’s confirmation of reservation. The minimum stay is two nights. For group trips or long stays we may request a deposit. For the Weimar Onion Market (Zwiebelmarkt, second weekend in October) we invoice the full amount in advance; the reservation only becomes binding once payment has been received, otherwise we cancel it.

In addition to the accommodation price, we charge the City of Weimar’s culture levy (Kulturförderabgabe) of €1.10 per person per night and pay it over to the city.

3. Arrival and departure

Check-in from 3 pm via key safe or remote front-door opening; we will send you the arrival information one to two days beforehand. Check-out by 10 am.

4. Cancellation

  • up to 8 days before arrival: free of charge
  • within the 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
  • on the day of arrival, in the event of no-show and for early departure: 100% of the accommodation price

5. Pets and smoking

Pets are welcome. For allergy-friendly preparation of the apartment we charge a supplement of €10.00 per day. Smoking is not permitted in the apartments.

6. Parking

Where a parking space is made available to the guest, even for a fee, this does not constitute a contract of safekeeping. The Landlord accepts no liability for the loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked or manoeuvred in the parking space, or their contents.

7. Liability

The Landlord is liable for its obligations under the contract with the diligence of a prudent businessperson. Any further claims by the guest are excluded. This does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, body or health where the Landlord is responsible for the breach of duty, or to other damage based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the Landlord.

Should any disruptions or defects occur, the Landlord will endeavour to remedy them once informed. The guest shall do what can reasonably be expected to help resolve the disruption and minimise any damage. The guest is liable for any damage they cause and shall keep the apartment in good order during the stay. Parents are liable for their children.
